Regis Barnes was born on November 25, 1947, in the West End community of Cincinnati, Ohio the second oldest of six children. He entered the house of our Lord on July 18, 2015, to spend eternity with his father Samuel, mother Kathleen, two bothers, and one sister who proceeded him. He attended Cincinnati Public Schools, and was baptized in the West End Presbyterian Church. Regis was fortunate to have his mother's sense of humor, as he loved life and enjoyed being with family and friends. He will be surely missed by his brothers, cousins, in laws, and many nieces and nephews. Interment is in Walnut Hills Cemetery at Cincinnati, Ohio.
