Reginald
Wilson, Sr.
March 28, 1960 – May 22, 2026
Reginald Wilson Sr. was born on March 28, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to his parents, the late Jacqueline Wilson-Jackson and Bennie Lee "Speedy" Green. Reggie was raised in the West End neighborhood by his loving grandmother, Martha Wilson, and aunt, Gladys Combs, both of whom preceded him in death. At an early age, he was baptized at New St. Paul Baptist Church and later graduated from Taft High School.
Throughout his life, Reggie enjoyed playing Pac-Man and other fun-filled games. He worked at the Country Club and Christ Hospital and also had a devoted career with his Aunt Gladys' cleaning service business. Most recently, he was a faithful employee of CityBird.
A loving father, devoted friend, and loyal spirit are just a few ways to describe the magnetic presence Reggie brought to those around him. He was cherished by all who knew him. Known for his warm heart and unforgettable sense of humor, Reggie had a special way of bringing smiles to everyone's face through his jokes, laughter, and welcoming personality. He could turn ordinary moments into treasured lifelong memories. Reggie had an unwavering dedication to family and friends and was always someone you could depend on for support and encouragement.
Reggie was preceded in death by his son, Reginald Wilson Jr.; his stepdaughter, Joan "Mooka" Presswood; and his sister, Gerald Walker.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Miquana (Shawn); his sons, Antonio (Tasha), Joseph, Joshua, and Antwan; his sisters, LaRita Green (Alex), Angie White, Lanise Williams, Demeco Anderson, Tran, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Ashante; and his brother, Curtis. He also leaves behind his lifelong devoted and dear friend, Carolyn Wright; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Wright, Jessie Wright-Moore (Brian), and Nicole Stewart (Bruce); his brothers-in-law, Clarence Wright, Larry Watkins, and Royce Byrd (Shirley); and a very special friend, Evelyn "Slim" Goode.
Reggie was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He shared a particularly special bond with his grandson, Beaufort "B.J.", along with his many other beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Reggie was truly loved and will be deeply missed. Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and legacy will forever reside in our hearts!
