Regina Sue Mitchell, age 68, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was born  December 21, 1950.

She was the daughter of Leo and Elizabeth (Jones) Updike.

Regina was a homemaker, her job was her family.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friends to all.

Regina was preceded in death by: her husband, William E. Mitchell: her daughter, Amanda Joy Spears; her brothers, Charles Beach, Claude Beach and Gilbert Beach.

Regina leaves to cherish her memory her children, George Joseph Spears and wife Rhonda, Franklin Daniel Spears and late wife Vina, James Allen Spears and late life partner David Lee Chandler, Irene Elizabeth Seibert and husband Wayne, Jason Eugene Spears and life partner William Drummond, Amy Sue Loechel and husband Charles and Mary Alice Horwarth and wife Tina. She had 22 grandchildren and 15 great grand children.  She is also survived by her brother Melvin Beach and sisters Alberta Spicer, Patricia France, and Edith Steward.

Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
