IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina Kay
Jones
July 13, 1959 – August 28, 2022
Regina Kay Jones July 13, 1959 - August 28, 2022
Regina K. Jones was born July 13, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Nute and Emma Crutcher Jones. She was one of five children. She confessed in Christ at an early age and united with Rockdale Baptist Church. Regina was blessed with three children, whom she loved dearly.
She earned her G.E.D., then went on to earn a certificate in Phlebotomy from Southwestern College. She had a passion for helping others and enjoyed assisting the elderly through her last job of Meals on Wheels. She always had a smile and an encouraging word but did not hesitate to put you in line when you stepped out of it. Regina enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and was a Bingo Queen. In her later years, she also enjoyed going to the casinos, as they become more local. She was a loving and giving person, always helping someone, whether with a phone call or a ride to the grocery store. She helped family and friends both, but many more said she was my mama too!" She will always be remembered as Mama Gina. Her children said she had a saying she would always say to them "I love you deeper than the blue sea, and higher than the mountains in the blue sky." Despite the many challenges and obstacles throughout her life, she had an unwavering faith that God would always make a way out of no way. One of her hallmark qualities was her ability to make everyone feel special. She touched lots of hearts and left lasting unforgettable impressions on all of us, as a servant of the Lord and the people as well. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother sibling, aunt, cousin and friend.
On August 28, 2022 Regina's earthly address changed to a heavenly one as she went home to be with the Lord. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Daniel L. Jones and Damien L. Jones; one daughter, Daphne T. Ralph, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; twenty one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; three living sisters and one brother, Brenda M (Robert) Jones, Janet A. (Albert) Jones-Alexander, Nancy C. Brown-DuBose, all of Cincinnati, Ohio and Gerald P. Jones of Tacoma, Washington. She is survived by a host of very loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, family and friends. We would also like to mention three very close friends that Regina considered her sisters, Danita Burns, Denise Gordon and Lillie Daphne Shaw (Debbie). She will be dearly missed.
