Obituary

Reggie  Jackson May 1, 1963 - January 5, 2023

Reggie Jackson affectionately known as "Red" because of his red hair was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Martha Crutchfield and William Toombs. He was the fourth oldest of six children.  Red was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system. When he turned nineteen he left Cincinnati, Ohio to go live in San Francisco, California. Where he resided for over thirty years.

Red was a member of the Western Teamsters Union, He worked hard for over 25 years and retired from working on many sets for a Hollywood production company. Red married his first wife, Penny in 1996. They divorced a few years later. Red then married his second wife, Carey in 2003. To that union were born two children Luca and Rose Jackson. Red and Carey divorced in 2019. Red was very artistic he enjoyed drawing and painting pictures. He also enjoyed walking on the beach watching the sun set.

Red felt his greatest accomplishment was when his two children were born. He loved them with all of his heart. He would tell everyone how proud he was of them both. He'd refer to his son as "Buddy Boy" and his daughter as "Boo Boo". He always said no matter how old they get they would always be his "Buddy Boy and Boo Boo". Red believed in a Higher Power and toward the last years of his life began to refer to him as God.  He departed this life on January 5, 2023.
