Raymond Pye Jr. was born October 12,1930 to the late Raymond Pye Sr and Deginea Pye. He departed this life on February 14, 2021.

Raymond was born in Flovilla, Georiga and later moved to Cincinnati Ohio. He was the oldest of 4 children. He was united in marriage to Roberta McMahon Pye who proceeded him in death. Raymond worked 30 years and retired from Velva Sheen Manufacturing Company in Cincinnati Ohio. Raymond was a supported and devoted father, who provided for his family. He enjoyed life, spending time with friends and family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, give financial support and advice. He enjoyed reading the Bible daily, listening to music. Going on his weekly ride around town. Watching his favorite television shows. Sharing his testimony on how God provided, protected and healed him from many illnesses. Raymond leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Phyllis Davis spouse (Cornelius); daughter Bonita Kindell; son Raymond Pye III spouse (Louise); and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter  the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
