TO VIEW / PRINT / DOWNLOAD FUNERAL PROGRAM https://www.scribd.com/document/323380095/Raymond-Hammond-Obituary Raymond Hammond was born on August 19, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John and Lily Mae (nee Johnson) Hammond. He departed this life on August 29, 2016. Raymond was in the United States Army in 1958, where he was stationed at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was honorably discharged. Raymond accepted Christ at an early age. He was led to Christ by one of his siblings (RosaLee), during a Wednesday night Bible Study meeting. This is where he accepted Christ as his personal Savior. Raymond was a graduate of Woodward High School in 1953. He later attended Cambridge Technical Institute, where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He was preceded in death by his nine siblings, Lillian Johnson, Ethel Mae Banks, Sabertha Mitchell, Mary Jean Early, RosaLee Howard, Brenda Haney, and Walter Hammond, John Henry Hammond, Richard Hammond. Also, 22 nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, September 8, 2016, at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 8181 South Fred Shuttleworth Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.00 Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428.
