Phyllis Walls, 68 of West Union, passed away Jan. 1, 2014.She was born in Harland County, Ky. on May 5, 1945 the daughter of the late William and Mabel (Smith) Howington. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Walls. Phyllis attended the Highway of Holiness Church. She is survived by her husband, Bob Walls of West Union; son, Tom and Madonna Walls of Seaman; daughters, Angela and Jim Dalton of West Union and Rena Walls of West Union; brother, Roy Howington of Corbin, Ky.; sisters, Barb Williams of Manchester, Judy Young of Delhi, Joann Corsmeir of Cincinnati, Brenda Howington of Amelia, and Carolyn Muse of Pineville, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014. Interment in New Market Baptist Cemetery.
