Birth: Oct. 26, 1932 Death: Jul. 22, 2005 Philip A. Castor, 72, of Baldwinsville died Friday, July 22, 2005 at his home. He was born in Rodman and lived in the Syracuse area most of his life. Philip retired from R.J. Denton Refractory in Syracuse after 39 years of service. Survivors: his wife of 51 years, the former Joyce A. Benware; two daughters, Linda (Gary) Horzempa of Pennellville and Sandra (Paul) Santorelli of Canastota; four sons, Michael (Jeannie) of Texas, David (Stacey) of Liverpool, Gary (Karyn) of E. Syracuse and Stephen (Sue) of Cicero; six sisters, Marjorie Perotta, Eleanor Maitland, Emma McNamara, Lucinda Russell, Sylvia Pulis and Icaleen Fitzgerald; four brothers, Edwin, Ray, Albert and Lee; 18 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Contributions: Hospice Of CNY, 990 7th North Street, Liverpool, NY, 13088-6148.
