Peggy Smith beloved daughter of the late Raymond Wilks and Ethel Hendrix Wilks was born on July 15, 1939. Peggy was educated in the Cincinnati school system. She worked outside the home for a number of years. Peggy was united in holy matrimony to Roosevelt Smith and from this union, three children were born. She was a devoted wife and mother who gave her unconditional love. Peggy enjoyed cooking, especially on Christmas and Thanksgiving. She loved music, playing cards and scrabble. She enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Smith; her parents, her brother, Willie Wilks; her sister, Virginia Cunningham; her sister, Queenie Jones and her son, Alonzo Smith. She leaves to cherish her life and memories: one daughter, Belinda (Vernon) Wyche; one son, Orlando L. Smith; eight grandchildren, eight-great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Wilks, sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
