Ms. Pecola Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, was born on November 13, 1935, in Newbern, Alabama. She peacefully departed this life on March 15, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Pecola was known for her warm spirit and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. She loved dancing and listening to music, often filling her home with rhythm and laughter. She also enjoyed shopping at the market, where she could often be found picking out her favorite items and sharing friendly conversations with those she met.

She dedicated 20 years of her life working as a housekeeper at Burns Convalescent Center, where her hard work, kindness, and commitment touched the lives of many residents and colleagues alike. Her quiet strength and caring nature made her a treasured presence both on the job and in her community.

Pecola was preceded in death by her beloved children: Rodney, Ellis, Nesha, and Curtis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Michael, Jerry, Christopher, Mark, Gregory, Sandra, Sharon, Vanessa, and Stanton; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends who will continue to honor her life and legacy.

Ms. Williams will be remembered for her resilience, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
