It was the 25th day of May in 1947 when a beautiful baby girl was born to Carrie Millow she was the first of 12 children and she named her Pearli Mae Blunt. Pearl spent early childhood in Valdosta, Georgia, she later moved to Ohio, where she gave birth and raised her two daughters, Angela Gooden and Donnette (Wende) Green. She fell in love and married Robert Pearson, this union had no children. Pearl worked as a bartender for most of her life, she also worked as a parking attendant for 10 years at University Hospital. Pearl attended church on a regular with her grandchildren at Mt. Auburn United Methodist Church. Even though she could not sing, you could not stop her from singing Marvin Sapp 'Never Would Have Made It.' Pearl was loved by many and everyone around her in the neighborhood, kids called her 'granny'. Her mother, Carrie Millow and her sister, Barbara Blunt preceded her in death. Pearl transitioned from this life to the next on February 21, 2014 surrounded by her family. She leaves to cherish her memories: four brothers, Levon Millow, Greg Millow, Ricky Millow, Adam Laster; six sisters, Debra Millow, Rosemary Craft, Teresa Millow, Gladys Millow, Gussie Johnson, Deloris Coleman; her two daughters, Angela Gooden and Donnette Green; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. You would either catch Pearl at bingo, or watching her game shows on TV. She also loves to watch crime shows one of her favorite shows was NCIS. Thank you Pearl Pearson for allowing us the privilege of knowing you, loving you and you loving us.
