Pearl was born the seventh of ten children to Roscoe Pride Sr. and Etta Smith Pride in Faraday, West Virginia, on February 22, 1946. She went home on August 15, 2015. Pearl loved to dress, loved to cook and had a special gift for interior design. You would have to know her to love her. Pearl had a special love for her Godson, Deandre, also she had one great-grandchild. Preceding her in death: two sisters, Ernestine Pride Stallings and Emily Holloway Pride; brother, Bobby Dyer. She is survived by a daughter, Shaun Pride; son, Gary Angelo Pride; sisters, Henrietta Pride Avery, Betty Pride, Doris Pride Dale; brothers, Clifford Pride (Yvonne), Charles Pride, Roscoe Pride (Deborah, grandchildren, Gary Pride Jr., Garyn Pride, Garet Pride and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the House of Joy, 5918 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati (45224).
