Pauline L. Dean was born September 7, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia. Pauline was the third of six children to the union of Claude Dean and Lela Boyd Dean. Her parent relocated to Kistler, West Virginia where she was educated Buffalo School District. Pauline graduated from Buffalo High School. Pauline moved to Hamilton, Ohio and she was employed at Goodwill until she retired.
Pauline started at St. Paul Miracle Center under pastorage of Bishop Harold Andrews Sr., she was a faithful and dedicated until Bishop Andrews went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2007. She decided to leave St. Paul and join Bishop Greg Andrew at the House of Deliverance Worship Center. She was affectionately know as "Mother", although Pauline never had children of her own, she was deeply love by countless people, nephews and nieces.
Pauline never had driver's license so many times you would see her walking in the streets for miles to get where she needed to go. Pauline was known as a social butterfly at the nursing home, and she loved to attend family functions, shop and going out to eat. She loved chicken and fish.
Pauline gained her heavenly wings at the age of 95 years on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Majestic Care of Fairfield in Fairfield, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Dean and Lela Dean; Siblings Nathaniel (Lula May) Dean, Willie (Lucille) Dean, Leonard Dean Sr. (Leanna), and Zethalene (Leon) Samples; Step Sisters Frances Barnes and Reatha Lee (Chuck) Woods.
Pauline leaves to cherish her memory her sister Madelyn Dean, and Step Sister In-Law Lucille Dean and a host of nieces, nephews, family, House of Deliverance family and friends.
Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the House of Deliverance, 333 South 2nd Street, Hamilton (45011). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
