Paul Lee Robinson, age 89, was the sixth child of eight siblings born from the union of Charles and Mary Ellen. He was the beloved brother of Marie White and deceased siblings, Magnolia Silmond, Rosetta Hightower, Charles, Fred, Joseph and Henry. Paul joined them in passing on June 1, 2014. His favorite scripture was Proverbs 4, Hymn was Blessed Assurance and favorite saying was 'Don't worry about things'. He possessed a strong belief in God, serving faithfully in the Nurses Guild and accepting the Chairmanship of Intercessory Prayer gatherings. In January of 1989 he received The Inspirational Baptist Church Senior Citizen Award. Paul was a dedicated Tither in support of spiritual doings. Also, he gave generously to the homeless shelter in Cincinnati. During his young days he enjoyed playing League Baseball until the Second World War broke out and he decided to enlist in the military to be sure that he would be placed in the service of his choice (drafting men took place at that time). After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the Navy during World War II he attended Unit X11 New York Technical Institute Tailoring Division. He worked at and retired from Allis Chalmers that later became Siemens Company and received in 1974 their Quarterly Century Award in recognition of twenty-five years of loyal and committed service. Paul was a hard worker and loved his independency! He leaves memories to cherish with his baby sister, Marie White, nephews Kim and Adam White, Richard and Micheal Robinson, nieces Rosalind Brown and Dawnielle Crooks, cousin Eula Olverson, brother-law Moss White, close friends Estelle Wyatt and Nannie Bibbs and other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place Friday, June 6, 2014 at Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati (45206).
