Paul Andrews, age 71, passed away March 13, 2013, at Mercy Mt. Airy from natural causes. He was a lifelong resident of Cincinnati. Born December 26, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was the son of the late Willie B. and Annie "Snow" Andrews. Paul attended Lincoln heights High School. Paul worked with Watts Construction laying blacktop for over 25 years. He was known to joke about anything and everyone. He never took much to heart. Paul wanted to be known as "Casanova" with a lot of swag in his years. He enjoyed buying cars, building race cars, cooking lots of food and feeding the entire neighborhood if he could. Paul's last days of life were spent residing at Veranda Garden Rehab, where he learned to appreciate life much more. He would make sure the residents were okay and many of them well fed. He would try his best to obey facility rules with the help of "Jordan", the one nurse who was able to get through to him just as much as his children. Paul was grateful for all who took care of him while he resided there for the past 7 years. Paul is survived by four daughters, Catherine Andrews, Lisa Thompson, Pritte "Jasmine" Williams, Paige Williams; one son, Paul Thompson; 12 grandchildren, Kyier, Aquewane, Shawntaze, Naisian, Jordan, Anyia, Paul Jr, Kevon, Zahmir, Jalen, Marcus, Stephon; a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Paul was the last of six siblings, Joe, Willie Jr, Major, Jean, and Barbara all preceded him in death. May God connect their wings and reunited them on the grounds of Heaven. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013, from the St. Mark AME Church, 9208 Daly Road, Cincinnati 45231. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until hour of service. Interment will follow service at Crown Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Funeral Home, 1025 E.
