Patrick Carl Wrencher Patrick Carl Wrencher was born on November 26, 1966, in Marion, Indiana to the late P.C. and Carol Sue Wrencher. P.C. and Carol Sue raised Patrick and his sister Lisa in Lima, Ohio. Patrick graduated from Lima Senior High School in 1985. Patrick enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1986 where he worked as a lab technician. In 1989, he joined the US Navy and was admitted to the Navy Nurse Candidate Program where he simultaneously served his country and advanced his education. Patrick excelled in college and graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's degree in nursing. After graduation, Patrick moved to Virginia where he began his career as an Ensign in the US Navy at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. Patrick served his country honorably, and after he retired from active duty, he went on to serve as a US Navy Reserve Officer. In total, Patrick completed over 21 years of exemplary military service. Patrick inherited his mother's love of education and was a life-long learner. He earned an MS degree in Community Health Services from Michigan State University and an MSN in Nursing Education from Walden University. Patrick not only loved learning but also loved helping others learn. True to his calling, Patrick taught various courses at Mount Saint Joseph University, Indiana Wesleyan University, and Scarlet Oaks Vocational School. Patrick combined his love of education with his desire to serve his former military brothers and sisters by accepting a position as the Nursing Informatics Coordinator at the Dayton VA Medical Center in 2008. Patrick married his best friend Alesia Sanders on July 30, 1992. Together they raised two wonderful children- Olivia and Patrick Jr. Patrick was a loving husband and devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, studying the bible, listening to gospel music and traveling. Patrick also enjoyed reading about cars, watching TV programs about cars, attending car shows, and test driving the latest "whip". Patrick departed from this life on May 15, 2016. He was predeceased by his father P.C., mother Carol Sue, and sister Nancy who died in infancy. Patrick leaves to cherish: his devoted wife of Alesia, daughter Olivia, son Patrick Jr., sister Lisa Wrencher, six nephews, two grandnieces, and a host of cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Walker-Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231).
