Roberson
June 23, 1950 – January 16, 2014
Service Saturday, January 25th, 2014 - 11:00 AM - Union Baptist Church 405 W. Seventh Street - Cincinnati, OH - 45203 Visitation Saturday, January 25th, 2014 - 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Union Baptist Church 405 W. Seventh Street - Cincinnati, OH - 45203 Patricia Ann Roberson 'Pat' was born to the late George Robinson and Mamie Lee French (Fain) on June 23, 1950. She was preceded in death by one older sister, Marguerite McKinney, two younger brothers; Robert and David French; one niece; Theresa Ann Fain, and nephew; Michael Angilos French. Patricia Ann was a strong black woman. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. Patricia was very intelligent and had lots of wisdom to share. She had a loving heart that was humble and pure. She would sacrifice what little she had to give to others in need. Patricia always had comforting, supporting, and encouraging words of advice to offer. She chose to love rather than hate. Patricia spoke LOVE and taught LOVE. Patricia Ann was LOVE! The passage of scripture that she most often referenced was Matthew 7:12 'Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.' Before she lost her sight to diabetes, she traveled to San Jose, California and lived there for several years. She enjoyed the beautiful ocean, palm trees and the warm sunny weather. She loved to sing and especially dance. Her hobbies included reading, walking her dog 'Baby', spending time with her grandchildren and baking cakes. She worked as an Activities Coordinator at a long term health care facility, at Goodwill Industries and San Jose Live. Before she left her earthly body, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. In doing so, God gave her a heart of forgiveness to RIGHT all the wrongs in her life. Patricia Ann recently became a member of Union Baptist Church where Rev. Orlando B. Yates is the pastor. She was overjoyed to finally become a member of the body of Christ, where she felt welcomed and loved. She leaves to cherish her memory: three wonderful sons, Allen (Carol), Kenneth (Daphyne), and Travis; two caring and loving daughters; Rose Bell (Wilarion) and Denise Brown; thirteen grandchildren; Erica, Durrell, Alberta, Michael, Kyla, Robyn, Diamante', Jasiel, Gabriel, Paris, Elijah, Hezekiah, and Elisha; nine great-grandchildren including Mikha whom she held very close to her heart; one brother, Edgar French; five sisters; Cloteilia Smith, Debra French, Georgia Sweatt, & Delores Washington, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; one aunt Honey Bee of Minnesota; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
