Patricia Evans was born November 7, 1953 and transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, April 15, 2014. She was born to Willie and Christine Evans, the three of them lived harmoniously together in the Forest Park area and she worked for Beckman Adult Center for over 35 years. Patty enjoyed life, she loved going to church and talking in the microphone to say hallelujah. If you turned on music she would light up, start dancing and singing and snapping her fingers to the beat of the music. Patty loved getting her finger nails polished, smelling good and listening to her radio. She also enjoyed White Castles, fried chicken, barbeque and potato chips. Whoever would come to the house to visit, she would make you think she's known you forever because she never forgot a face or name. Patty was a joy to be around, she never encountered a bad day. She loved her sisters, brother, nieces and nephews, especially around the holidays. Patricia is survived by five sisters and one brother, Gregory Evans, Carolyn Evans, Vernetta (Anthony) Howell, Sheila Evans, Carrie Evans and Kelly (Ricky) Hill. She also is survived by 13 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
