Patrice Marie Robinson, affectionately known to many as "Pokey," brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew her. Born on Thursday, December 2, 1971, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Freddie James and the late Rena Louise Robinson, Pokey was the youngest of three daughters in her family. She peacefully entered eternal rest on September 8, 2025, leaving a legacy that will be cherished forever.

Pokey was a proud resident of Forest Park, where she filled her community with joy and strength. An alumna of the final graduating class of Forest Park High School in 1991, she also completed her studies at Scarlet Oaks, earning her certification in Cosmetology—a testament to her creativity and drive.

Her zest for life shone through in her love for family, friends, music, good food, and laughter. Whether cruising around in her trusty truck or bringing people together, Pokey's outgoing personality and compassionate heart made her a beloved fixture in every circle she touched.

For over two decades, Pokey proudly served as a bus driver for Princeton City Schools with First Student, safely guiding generations of students and earning admiration for her dedication and warmth.

Pokey's radiant smile could brighten any room, and her generous spirit—nurtured from childhood by her mother—was felt by all. She was a thoughtful listener and a peacemaker, providing comfort and encouragement whenever it was needed.

Though preceded in death by her mother, Rena, her brother, Tyrone, and her sister, Angela, Pokey's absence leaves a profound void. Yet, her vibrant spirit lives on in the hearts of her surviving family: her father, Freddie, Sr.; siblings, Chonda, Sharma, Tanya, Anthony, and Freddie, Jr.; along with her beloved nieces and nephews—Mionna, Lauren, Chambre, Carlton, Garron, J'Lanya, Marissa, Lailah, Dominique, David, Jr., Quiana, Shawntez, Conrad—and a host of great-nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Patrice "Pokey" Robinson's memory will forever be celebrated; her laughter echoes in our hearts, and her kindness inspires all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit continues to guide and uplift her family, friends, and community, reminding us that joy lives on when love is shared.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on  Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Vineyard Community Church, 11340 Century Circle E, Cincinnati  (45246).   The memorial service will begin at 12:00 pm.
