IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Ann
Wilson
July 11, 1967 – August 20, 2013
Pamela Ann Wilson, affectionately known as "Pam Pam" and "Tal Tal", the daughter of Rev. Henry and Carrie Wilson Jr., was born July 11, 1967 in Cincinnati, Ohio. God called her home to be with Him on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. She was the younger of two children. Pam accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Corinthian Baptist Church, under Rev. Wesley V. Maxie Sr., where she was very involved in all the youth activities. In later years, under her father's Pastorship, she was active at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a charter member. Pam participated in several church activities, including the Fellowship Kitchen and Helping Hands Committees, and the Contemporary Choir, just to name a few. "Pam Pam" was a graduate of Walnut Hills High School and a proud graduate of Hampton University, with a degree in Business Administration. In post graduate years, Pam became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Sigma Omega Chapter. Pam's education led her to her first managerial position in the family owned business, Henry's on the Skywalk", a gourmet deli. Pam later became the Finance Manager for WA Architects. "Tals Tal's" interests included league bowling, traveling, cruising to the islands and making 'new' friends everywhere she went. Pam's 3am phone calls will truly be missed, where she started with "What are you doing" or "What's Happening", ending with "Did I say I was finished". Pam loved hard, kept it real, and shot straight from the hip. Pam had a special gift for bridging the gap between the youth and the seniors. "Pam Pam" sure knew how to 'throw down' in the kitchen. She loved cooking for her family and friends (and, boy, are we gonna miss it!) especially those fried chicken wings and that tasty dressing (Sooooo…family, who is going to pick up the fuzzy blue house shoes? Don't all speak at once!). "Pam Pam" loved her family and was the "glue" in keeping the family together in fellowship with her infamous dinners. Pam leaves to cherish her memory: her parents, Pastor Henry and Carrie Wilson Jr, sister, Peggy Wilson, aunts, Lillian (James) Brown, Leola (James) Stearns, Sallie (Vernon) Carter and Linda Roberson. Cousins, Ossylin, Brenklin, Tarsha, Darryl, Aaron, Mark, Steve, Darryn, Sharon, Leon, Crystal, Emory and Kela; God-siblings, Vinnetta, Derick, Tamara, Brandon, Tanisha, Jordan and Andru; and a host of relatives extended family and especially friends. Funeral Services were conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 6601 Montgomery Road, Silverton (45213). Visitation was held from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment followed the service at Spring Grove Cemetery. Walker Funeral Home entrusted with final arrangements.
