Pamela Hardin Willis was born July 21, 1956 to the union of Andrew Hardin and Lilly Bell Duncan in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pamela accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Brown Chapel AME Church at a young age. Pam graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1974 and she went on to graduate from Wittenberg University with a BS Degree in Social Work.
After graduation she began working as a medical social worker. Pam had a passion to help others! Upon returning to Cincinnati she continued her mission by working as a financial counselor and loan officer in the Greater Cincinnati and Kentucky areas. Through her work she counseled others so they could reach their lifelong goals and sustain financial stability. Pam received numerous awards for her contributions including being honored by the Greater Cincinnati Urban League and the African American Chamber of Commerce.
Pam married the love of her life Ruben Willis September 21, 2002. They had a wonderful life together, sharing much love, and laughter. Pam loved traveling, shopping and enjoying her family.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lilly Bell Hardin, her brother Gregory Hardin.
Pamela received her wings and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at University Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted husband of 18 years, Ruben Willis Jr.; son, Ruben; grandchildren, Ta'anna Gamble, Quadir Willis and Yakira Willis; brothers, Henry Duncan and Andrew Hardin (Marie); ; aunts and uncles, Helen Fant, Fannie Herring (Boyize), Mary Alice Mansel (Stanley), Sylvia Crawford (William), Jesse Duncan (Flora Mae) and Albert Duncan; father and mother-in-law, Ruben and Lucile Willis and a host of other relatives and friends that she cared for deeply.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati 45206. The memorial service will begin at 2:30 pm.
