Obituary

Pamela Sue Walker was born on June 26, 1954 in Addyston, Ohio to the late Robert and Lela Thomas.  Pamela departed this life on November 2, 2020 to be with her Heavenly Father.

Pamela received Christ at an early age with The First Missionary Baptist Church of Addyston, Ohio.  Later Pam was united in Holy Matrimony on February 4, 1977 to Larry Walker.  This union was blessed with three children: a daughter, Felicia Thomas and two sons Larry Walker II and Malcolm Walker. Although the marriage did not last, the caring and friendship remained.

Pam was a loving and devoted mother who taught by example.  While caring for her family and working a full-time job she went back to school and got her high school diploma.  She then graduated from the University of Cincinnati with an Associate of Applied Business Degree.  Her big heart and generous spirit also taught us to care and help others when ever we can.  If Pam could help someone, she would without pause or question.  Whether dancing around the house listening to Stevie Wonder or helping her grandchildren with their homework she enjoyed her life and brought joy to anyone she came in contact with.

Pam was proud during her life to have served as Secretary, Choir Director, Youth Director, and Summer Bible School teacher with First Missionary Baptist Church.  Pam loved working with the children of the church and was affectionately known by Aunt Pam by all the children.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving and devoted daughters, Felicia Thomas, Nicole (Andre) Tinsley, sons Larry Walker, II and Malcolm Walker; three grandchildren, Brittany Duke-Tinsley, Brisha Tinsley, Briana Tinsley; sisters, Evelyn Phoenix, Shirley Grady,  Katherine Hill, and brother, Vernon Thomas, Pamela was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Todd, Lula Collins, Carolyn Thomas, Gloria Campbell, Dora Holmes, Anna Katherine Thomas, and Patricia Duke; and brothers, Daniel Thomas, Leonard Thomas, James Thomas, Frank Thomas, Gregory Thomas, Frederick Williams, Author Williams, Thomas Williams, and Robert Williams.  She will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
