Epperson and Shirley Epperson. While Otto was in elementary school here in Cincinnati, Ohio, he and his family moved to Seaside, California. He graduated from Seaside High School and later attended Monterey Peninsula Community College for two years. He also attended California State College for two years. At Seaside High, he took a cooking class which he enjoyed very much and then later moved back to Cincinnati, Ohio, where he began working as a cook at the Echo Restaurant in Hyde Park where he worked for many years. Otto met his wife Simone Stewart at New Anointed Ministries, where she also was a part of the ministry there. Deacon Otto was ordained our first deacon at the Solid Rock Apostolic Church, now New Anointed Ministries. He worked side-by-side with Bishop Timothy Richardson, Sr. for 17 1/2 years. Deacon Otto was the church janitor, maintenance man, transporter, took the seniors grocery shopping, and whatever we needed, he was there especially as our Bishop's personal assistant. Otto departed this life on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Mercy West Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Michael McCoy; his wife, Simone Stewart-Epperson; stepchildren, Shamiya Williams (21 years old), and Cameron Stewart (18 years old); three sisters, Marian Sims (Byron), Tracy Epperson, Kenya Epperson; one brother, Robert D.
