Otis Charles Walker was born in Birmingham, Alabama on June 5, 1959 to the union of Cora and Willie Walker Sr.

Otis aka Charles was the definition of survival of the fittest.  He reclaimed his life and married the love of his life,  Sandra Denise Walker on June 28, 1998.  THEY WERE INSEPARABLE.  Before Charles' health began  to fail, he had the skills to perform  any job that paid the bills.  He could work on cars, paint and  make a good meal. His most memorable jobs were the Chart House and Del Felice.

Charles would often talk about time with his family in Alabama. He loved his siblings and in-laws for the opportunity of being Uncle Charles. He enjoyed hanging out with family, playing cards and joking around with the kids.  Charles was a proud grand father and very special dad.

He was preceded in death by: his mother, Cora Walker;  father, Willie Walker Sr.; son, Otis Rice; sisters, Claudia Webster and Brenda Martin; brothers, Henry Walker, Thomas Walker and  Clint Walker.

He received his Heavenly wings on Monday November 22, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving and devoted wife, Sandra D. Walker; step-daughter Salletta L. Flanigan and grand daughter, Sakiyah C. Flanigan all from Covington, KY; special niece, LaShawnti Buckner from Cincinnati, OH;  brother, Chester Walker (Sandy) from Covington, KY and Willie Walker Jr (Gwendolyn) from Detroit, MI; sisters, Bertha Whites (Phillip)  from Detroit, MI, Cora Webster (Ronnie) from Birmingham, AL and Michelle Weaver (David) from Morehead from Detroit, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Hellman Creative Center, 321 W MLK Blvd., Covington, 41011.
