Otis  Garner Jr. September 19, 1968 - August 25, 2023

Otis Garner Jr. was born on September 19, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Otis Garner Sr. and Mildred A. Franklin.

He departed this life on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Kettering Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Otis was preceded in death by his parents and niece Felicia Boyd.

Otis excelled in academics, early in life he attended several Catholic schools, and in 1984 at the age of 16, he graduated from Taft High School. He worked in the construction industry building new homes, in addition, he worked part-time selling an array of home entertainment products.

Otis and Lisa Hengge, happily welcomed a daughter Jasmine Garner in 1993 whom they cherished. Otis and Jennetta Lyons met in 2011, they remained in a loving relationship until his death.

Otis enjoyed reading, traveling, watching professional boxing, collecting football cards and was a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan. He also enjoyed friendly and sometimes spirited discussions on politics and religion. Above all, he loved socializing with family and friends who remember him as a kind and generous person.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter: Jasmine Garner, girlfriend: Jennetta Lyons, brothers: Darryl Franklin, and Christopher Garner, sister: Luana Garner, nieces: Victoria Franklin, and Indigo Garner, nephews: Shawn Coleman, and Tim Walker, beloved aunt: Rosetta Franklin and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm, on  Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 pm.
