Otis Lee Freeman, born on July 31, 1936, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, at the age of 87. Otis was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandparent, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Born to Ethel and Odell Freeman, Otis grew up with strong family values that he carried throughout his life. During his childhood, Otis, along with his parents, relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the Cincinnati Public School System and soon after joined the military, where he served his country with pride and was honorably discharged. Following his military service, Otis traveled the world, gaining invaluable experiences and making lasting memories before eventually settling down with his beloved wife, Mildred Watson. Otis leaves behind his devoted wife, Mildred, who stood by his side for many cherished years. He was a proud and loving father to his two sons, Eric and Kerry. Additionally, he was a caring stepfather to Constance, Darryl, Terry, Robin, Holly, Vincent, and Chris, whom he loved and supported as his own. Otis also shared a special relationship with his two nephews, Greg and Mike, who held a unique and cherished place in his heart. He is also preceded in death by his former wife, Alice Freeman, grandson, Melvin Williams, and great-grandson, Jalen Watson. Otis leaves behind grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride. Otis lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, on  Sunday, July 21, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
