Orienta Nicole (Nikki) Eison was born on January 24, 1972 in Cincinnati, Oh. She was born unto the union of Millard Yancy Eison and Deborah (Butler) Eison. She passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Nikki accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was baptized as a child.

Nikki was the most outgoing of her siblings. She loved music (singing in college and Karaoke). She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also loved watching football (especially the Bengals).

Nikki graduated from North College Hill High School. She earned a BA in African-American studies from the University of Cincinnati and later went back to earn a MA in Community Counseling from Xavier University. She was also a graduate of Public Allies AmeriCorps service-learning program.

Nikki dedicated her life to working to improve the lives and mental health of youth and adults. She has presented for small groups and large conferences both locally and nationally in school, corporate, non-profit, and church settings. She also worked as a prevention messenger at Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Nikki founded Emerging Spirit Counseling Services, LLC. She was dually licensed in OH and KY as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She specialized in individual and family counseling for children and women, helping to promote safe and healthy lifestyle choices.

Nikki was preceded in death by her father, Millard Yancy Eison; sisters, Diedre and Sonya; uncle, Marvin Rhodes; maternal grandparents, Willa Mary (Rhodes) and Charles T. Butler Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Allaine Pickett.

Nikki leaves to cherish her loving memory: Her mother, Deborah (Butler) Eison; Sister, Jacqulyn Eison; Brothers, Brian Brown and Greg Yancy; Great aunt, Jerrileane Rhodes; Nephews, Isaac Brown and Isaiah Brown; Nieces, Naya Brown, Nadia Seye, LaNya Herron, Briana Brown, and Nava Brown; Aunts, Angela Butler, Veronica Walker, and Sheila Butler; Uncles, Kelvin (Calvin) Butler and Charles Butler Jr.; Cousins, Cameron Bulter, Kayla Walker, Adam Butler, Karen Butler-Smith, William Franklin, and Shanna Jackson; paternal aunt Dianne Wallace; paternal uncle, Michael Canady; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
