Oliver Francis Wilson was born on May 2, 1906 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of George and Mary Frances Wilson.  He departed this earthly life on Sunday, February 11, 1996.

At an early age, Oliver was baptized at Zion Baptist Church.  He attended University Elementary School and later graduated from Hughes High School.

On November 22, 1927, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Dorothy  Wilson, who preceded him in death on February 8, 1994..  From this joyful union, they shared the joys of raising four children: Clifford Young (deceased), George Louis Wilson, JoAnn Wilson Peeks, and Janet Wilson Wesley.

Oliver was also the proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered by all who knew him as someone who could always brighten your day with a smile, wave of the hand or good conversation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Service 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 1996.  Interment  will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
