Olajide was born on November 30, 1977 to Aderemi Adewumi and Risikat Adesola in Ibadan, Nigeria. He went to Polytechnic Ibadan for college studies in Nigeria and earned a degree in communications; however, later started a career in marketing.

In 2018, he moved to the United States where he worked and settled in Columbus, OH. Later in 2020, he met Eugenie Woods who became the love of his life. On February 13, 2021, Olajide and Eugenie joined hands in marriage.

Olajide was a quiet man who loved his family. He enjoyed working on cars, helping others, talking about politics, and watching CNN and soccer. He was known for his loving smile.

Olajide is preceded in death by his father, Aderemi Adewumi, and a sister.

Olajide is survived by his wife, Eugenie Adewumi; mother, Risikat Adesola; brothers, Oladipo Adewumi, Adebayo Adewumi, and David Adewumi; daughters, Inioluwa Adewumi and Toluwanimi Adewumi; stepdaughter, Deborah Woods; a host of nieces and nephews; and other close family and friends.

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on  Friday, April 23, 2021, at the Macedonia Living Word Fellowship Church, 353 W. Kemper Road, Springdale  (45246).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions masks are required in order to enter the service and social distancing must be practiced.  Please be prepared to comply for the safety of all.
