Neron Solid was born on February 6, 1959, in the state of Alabama to the late Lee Otis Green and Fannie Mae Green. Neron was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Solid when he was a child. God allowed him to live for 66 years. Neron served in the Marines for 2 years.

Neron was a hardworking, caring man who always considered other people then himself. He always put his family first. He was always there when needed and helped out when he could. He also loved to joke around and make people laugh.

Neron loved football and talking about his daughter and grandbabies. He loved all the children in the family. He was a very devoted brother, father, and grandfather.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter Marie Higgins Drew, granddaughters Shamika and Dedrie Higgins; great-grandbabies Miyprince and Miypromise Hudson last but not least De'Arius Higgins. He leaves seven sisters, three brothers Shirley Tucker deceased, Lt. Willie C. Johnson (Kay), Fannie Green (Lee Otis), Earl Green (Shirley), Joyce Johnson (Mickey), Annie King (Ronnie), Fannie Jackson, Clarise Green (Robert), Melvin Green (Kia), Alfreda Oliver and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on  Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
