Nancy Lynn (White) Bess, age 65, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born on March 24,1953 in Middletown, Ohio to James Gilbert and Evelyn Nancy White.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Katrina Nicole Stephens, Micah Lavar Bess (Tegan), Atiya Raine Thomas (Jimmie) all of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her Siblings, James Wesley (Christine) White of Middletown, Ohio; Kathleen Elizabeth Nelms of Cincinnati, Ohio; Larry Eugene White of Lebanon, Ohio; Terry L. Forrester (Mary) of Washington State; Lillian Lorraine (John) Allen of Liberty Township, Ohio; Melissa Ann (Gregory) Hart of Middletown, Ohio; Robert Alan (Mary) White of Hamilton Ohio; and Wesley Eugene White of Middletown, Ohio. Her loving grandchildren, Malika, Amiya, Mica, Nyla, Sundae, Jimmie III, Sommer, Jimmahne, Vincent, Larry, and Nysheaira; Great-grandson, Fuzzarr, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including special friends: Carol Fuller, Deborah Ann Clark, Paulette Kaiser, Kita Bryant, and Debbie Frazier.

Nancy is preceded in death by both parents James Gilbert and Evelyn Nancy (Powell) White of Middletown, Ohio; her sister Beverly Elaine (White) Bomar of Middletown, Ohio; her aunts Elizabeth Ardelle "Bessie" (Powell) Combs of Cincinnati, Ohio; Ann Virginia (Powell) Forrester of Middletown, Ohio, and Sylvia Maddrie of Memphis, Tennessee; Uncle, Walter Eugene Powell of Dayton, Ohio; Nephew, James Anthony "Tony" White of Middletown, Ohio, and Sister-in-law Judith "Lynn" White of Lebanon, Ohio.

Nancy had a magnetic personality. She was funny, generous, and considerate. She was known among her family and friends as an amazing singer, entertainer, great storyteller, and all-around good friend. She retired from St. Bernard Soap (formerly known as P&G) in 2015.

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A woman of abundant faith, Nancy was faithful in her walk with the Lord.

Nancy is survived by her three children, six siblings, 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.

Visitation is from 12 noon until 1:00 pm, on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Solid Rock Church, 903 Union Road, Lebanon, Ohio  (45036). The memorial service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
