Myrtis Williams was born September 16, 1939 to the late Brazil and Alice Williams. She said her farewell on March 31, 2016. Myrtis graduate from Central High School and Cincinnati Technical College. She worked a Harry's Men Clothing. She went back to school and received her BA from Cincinnati Technical College. She retired from the State of Ohio. She was the first Black women in the State of Ohio to Manage a State Liquor store. Myrtis was a long time member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. Myrtis was preceded in death by her parents Brazil and Alice Williams, her brother Theodore Williams, sisters Eunice Scott, Florence Williams and her daughter Victoria Elam. Myrtis loved her church, baking, gardening, traveling, and family diners. She will be cherished in memory by her daughters Allison Shells (Suber), Earlene Dula her grand and great grandchildren her nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. She also leaves a loving sister Alice Brown and her favorite traveling buddie and best friend Helen Caldwell. Ms. Williams memorial service will be held Monday, April 11, 2016, at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 1834 Section Road, Cincinnati (45237).
