IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Moses Darwin
Wilson
September 26, 1927 – December 16, 2021
Moses Darwin Wilson was born in Kavita, Kentucky, husband of E. Jeanne Wilson (nee Simpson), devoted father to Glenn (Shirley Gale) Wilson, Debbie (Doug) McClain, Patti Wilson, and Scott (Tracey) Wilson, loving grandfather of 9, great grandfather of 11. Proceeded in death by his Father Martin Wilson, Mother Tannie Wilson (nee Smith), 6 brothers, and 1 sister. On January 5, 1946, he volunteered and served in the Army for 18 months in Germany. He and his brother Homer developed the Wilson Brothers painting contractors. He had a great love for the outdoors fishing, and hunting were his favorite pastimes. On July 28, 1974, Moses became a member of Landmark Baptist Temple and immediately became very active in the church. He drove a church bus, became an usher, and later was selected as a deacon and continued to serve as his health permitted. He later said that becoming a Christian and working in the church was one of the most important things he ever did in his life. He passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 94 years.
The family will receive friends at Friendship Baptist Church, 8580 Cheviot Rd, Cincinnati, Oh 45251, on Tuesday, December 21st from 10 AM until the time of the funeral services beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens, 1600 Glendale Milford Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
