Morry Lee Johnson was born on May 18, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Henry Johnson, Jr. and Jean Johnson (Banks). He was a devoted father, son, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Morry departed this life on January 18, 2026. He grew up in Cincinnati, where he graduated from Woodward High School in 1975. From an early age, Morry demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication. He became a committed dry cleaner, beginning his career at just 16 years old. He worked for many years at Cavalier Dry Cleaners, where he not only perfected his craft but also mentored young people in the business.

Morry was known for his quiet faith and strong belief in God. Though he was not outwardly religious, he began each day reading his scriptures and listening to gospel music, setting a positive tone for his life and the lives of those around him. He shared a special bond with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who often called him for guidance and advice. Morry took pride in being present in their lives and supporting them.

He leaves to cherish his memory his four children: Latasha White, Shondra Graves (Andrae), Crystal Walker, and Terrell Johnson; his loving parents, Henry Johnson, Jr. and Jean Johnson (Banks); two brothers, Reggie Johnson and Sidney Johnson (Sara); one sister Monica Mathis; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Morry Lee Johnson will be remembered for his dedication, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the lessons he shared.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
