In Loving Memory of  Montez Maurice Yett  A.K.A. "Bagz of Money"

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Montez Maurice Yett, who departed this life on July 19, 2026, at the age of 37.

Montez was born on June 30, 1989, to his father, Terence James, and his mother, Patricia Ann Yett.

He was a devoted father to Montez Jr. Yett and Deon Lee Yett, whose mother is Rody Howard, and a proud grandfather to Kyaire Miko Yett.

He was a cherished brother to Terence Lee Yett and Antwand Deon Yett and a loving stepbrother to DeAndre Harris, Andrew Hummons, and Cara Clark. He was a proud uncle to Antwand Yett Jr., Terence Yett Jr., and Darrion Lumpkins. Montez was also a treasured grandson of Lucille Yett and the beloved boyfriend of Michaela Pinkston.

He was dearly loved by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Montez was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He truly enjoyed working out and staying active, but what brought him the greatest joy was spending quality time with his family, friends, and loved ones. Whether sharing laughs, creating lasting memories, or simply enjoying each other's company, he treasured every moment with those he cared about.

His presence could light up any room, and he touched countless lives with his caring spirit and genuine heart. His life was taken far too soon, leaving an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the memories he leaves behind and for the love that will forever remain in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory a family and circle of friends who will love and miss him always.

Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate his life, honor his memory, and say our final goodbye.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Montez, your love, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.
