Monica Renee Rhodes was born September 3, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of the late Melvin Montgomery Williams and the late Leona Williams (Wright). She departed this life on October 14, 2014. Monica was the oldest of four sisters. She graduated from Forest Park High School in 1982. She attended the University of Cincinnati, where she became an Alpha Angel. Monica confessed to Christ at a young age and became a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She joined the Junior Usher Board and she sang in the youth choir. She later became a member of Kemper Road Christian Church. Monica's son Darwin David Rhodes was her pride and joy. She had a beautiful smile and loved to help others. She was a great cook and enjoyed traveling with friends. Her parents, Melvin and and Leona Williams, grandparents, and nephew Derek Montgomery Williams, preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious son, Darwin David (DJ) Rhodes; three sisters: Brenda Jordan (Anthony), Lynette Jones (Lonnie II) and Nicole Ellison (Mark). Aunts Dorothy Hunter and Loretta Piggee.
