Modine L. Carpenter, (nee Wells), 80 years of age passed away on Monday 4, 2014, Peacefully at home. surrounded by her family. She was retired from Deaconess Hospital where she worked for over 25 years. She was born in Jamestown (Russell County), Kentucky. On April 25, 1934 to Gertrude Ethel Wells and Arliss Wilson. She is survived by sons, William Benny Carpenter (Rita) and Richard Luther Carpenter (Marnie), of Cincinnati, Ohio. Grandchildren Damien R. Carpenter (and friend Lindsay O'Connor) of Mason Ohio, John Hunter Carpenter and Rachel Katherine Carpenter of Cincinnati, Ohio. Step-grandmother to Destin Carpenter and Donald Gibbs. loving aunt of Charles (Diane) Fraley, Bobbie Jean (Fraley) Ludwick, Terry Lee Creech, Lawrence Creech. Great aunt of Vanessa (Scott) Bryson and Roger Ludwick. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. one sister, Parthenia Creech. Service at Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt Healthy, Ohio.
