Minnie Douglas
Born September 2, 1923
Entered Eternal Rest April 7, 2012
As a new day dawned, a new life began. The morning of April 7, 2012, the summons came and she answered, moving into eternity.

On June 15, 1946, she was united in holy matrimony to Robert L. Douglas and moved to Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Years later, upon returning to Cincinnati, she joined the New Nazarene Baptist Church under the late Rev. Elmo Millman. Minnie was a faithful servant until illness prevented her. She served throughout the years in numerous capacities, Trustee, President of Senior and Mass Choirs, key person in the founding of the Casualettes, hosted Tom Thumb Weddings, treasurer of the Annual Women's Day Annual May Festivals. She was Director of the Youth Choir and supervisor of the youth and young adults.
One of the hallmarks of her life was her dedication and love for children. She became a mother figure to the many children that belong to her family, friends, and church members.
In the 1960s, Minnie graduated from the Poro School of Beauty Arts along with her lifelong best friend and business partner the late Elaine Heard. The two eager women later became entrepreneurs when they stepped out on faith and opened the Head Hunters remained opened for over 40 years leaving its mark in the heart and souls of all that entered its doors.
