IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Milton Metcalf
Sr.
July 1, 1943 – November 17, 2014
Milton Metcalf Sr. was born July 1, 1943 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Isaiah and Ida Mae Metcalf. He was the 2nd of 13 children. He attended Lincoln High School in Forrest City, Arkansas. He came to know and married Eva Lois Slaughter November 19, 1961 and shortly thereafter relocated his family here in Cincinnati. His passing was two days short of their 53rd wedding anniversary. He retired from Heekin Can Company. Milton's talents encompassed a multitude of things, however his hobbies closest to his heart included working on, repairing and restoring vehicles with his sons and grandsons by his side. His knowledge and passion was thus passed on to two generations. Home repair and building were next. Countless were the times he'd leave to assist others whether down the street or states away. His greatest joy and accomplishment in home building was building his wife Eva a new home with his own two hands, which was named "The Ponderosa". Milton was preceded in death by one son Milton Jr., leaving to cherish his memory are daughters Terrie Evans (Roy) Dallas, Texas, Darnetta Metcalf – Cincinnati, Ohio and sons Charles Metcalf Sr. - Dallas, Texas, Kevin Metcalf Sr. – Cincinnati, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
