Millard (Mel) Campbell – Father of Gary (Karen) Campbell, Debbie O'Brien (Mike), Pam (Joe) Ray, Greg (Dee) Campbell and Robert (Marina and Julia) Campbell. Grandfather of Javis and Nick Ray, Ashley and Chris Campbell, Shaun and Jesse O'Brien and Tayloranne Campbell. Great-grandchildren are – Talon, Winter, Haylee and Jaice.

Mel, as he like to be called, served in WW2 in the infantry as a PFC rifleman, and an entertainment specialist. He served in the European Theatre of Operations as a member of Co. G, 242nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd Division. After his service to our country, he continued entertaining and went by the stage name of Bobby Bell. He sang and tap danced at many venues throughout the area.

He married the love of his life, Dolores (nee Heinrichs) who preceded him in death in 1992. Mel was a loving father who worked hard to insure his family always was taken care of, owning his own nightclub, the Club Riviera and eventually highlighted his career as a mixologist at Captain Hooks, Mike Finks, Wiggins, and the Windjammer. His jokes always had us laughing and he was always ready to sing one of his favorite tunes.

Dad, we love you and you will be missed!

Visitation is from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on  Friday, August 3, 2018, at the Lakeside Chapel on the grounds of Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The graveside service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
