Hill
August 6, 1926 – October 2, 2025
Mildred Hill, of Birmingham, Alabama was born in 1926, to the late Louis and Fannie Mae Hollins. She passed at the wise age of 99. She was the eldest of three children. She attended Parker High in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Cincinnati as an adult. She met and married her late husband Edward B. Hill. Mildred and Edward we're married for 60 years and by 2007 had bought their forever home to raise their family.
She became a member at First Antioch Baptist Church where she was an active member who served on Usher Board number two. Later she moved to Zion Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Eastern Stars and heavily involved in creating a non- profit organization called the Cosmopolitan Club.
Mildred was a loving wife, caring mother, amazing grandmother, and a helpful great grandmother. Mildred worked in the nursing field and chose labor and delivery as her specialty; she also worked at Keebler for 25 years as an Elf.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Hollins Sr. and Fannie Mae Hollins, husband Edward B. Hill, siblings Eugenia Hollins and Louis Hollins Jr., children Broderick A. Hill, Andre B. Hill, Kelvin B. Hill, Audrey M. Hill-Young, and her great-grandchild Miha.
She leaves her memories to be cherished by her grandchildren Deshawn, Raymond, Sonora; great grandchildren Alex, Rayna, Allen, Bryant, Keion, Doral, Damona and a host of other family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
She will be laid to rest at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 3117 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
