Mikal Anthony
Smith
December 5, 2000 — June 13, 2026
Mikal Anthony Smith, age 25, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2026.
Born on December 5, 2000, Mikal was the beloved son of Stephanie Brooks and Michael Smith. From an early age, he possessed a vibrant personality that naturally drew people to him. His infectious smile, quick wit, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Mikal was a proud graduate of Lakota West High School and worked in sanitation and food services. While he was dedicated to his work, those closest to him knew that his greatest passion was his family. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with the people he loved, whether it was sharing laughs, making jokes, or simply enjoying one another's company. Family was the center of his world.
Known for his kind heart and unwavering loyalty, Mikal was fiercely protective of those he loved. He was the person family and friends could depend on during life's difficult moments, offering encouragement, strength, and unconditional support. His genuine nature, sense of humor, and ability to brighten any room made him unforgettable.
Mikal also enjoyed spending time with friends, had a deep appreciation for cars, and loved being around children. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making others feel welcomed and valued. Though he never married and had no children of his own, he embraced his role as a loving uncle and devoted brother with great pride.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Stephanie Brooks and Michael Smith; his brothers and sisters, Jakoria Fisher, Jakyi Brooks, Mikeyja Smith, Yazmen Brooks, Avyonna Hinton, and Ava Hinton; his beloved nephew, Ashton; his cherished nieces, Jazmine and Tiana; his special aunts, Angela Brooks, Lunnia Harris, and Marlena Barron; special friends Latonya Smith; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
Although his time on earth was far too brief, the love Mikal shared, the laughter he inspired, and the lives he touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, loyalty, kindness, and family will never be forgotten.
