Michael Thomas Sears, age 77, of Cincinnati, passed away May 29, 2022. He was born February 28, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Johnny and Hertie Sears. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Hertie Sears; and brother, Walter Sears. Michael is survived by his wife, Madelaine Sears; granddaughter, Gabrielle Sears; sister, Kitty Sears; brother, Johnny Sears; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. A graveside service with military honors will take place at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street.
