Michael J. Paschka, known affectionately as Mike, passed away peacefully at Hospice Care on  September 18, 2025, at the age of 84.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harvey and Edna Paschka.

He was a devoted father to Erin Mattan and a loving step-father to Tracey Byrd and Thomas Strunk.  Loving grandfather to Baylee Wesley, Samantha, and Kaitlyn.  Mike was a devoted brother to John (Jack) Paschka.  He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephew and great-nieces and nephews.

Mike had a lifelong passion for sports and found great joy in coaching children throughout the years. Those were some of the happiest times of his life, especially seeing the kids grow, thrive, and succeed both on and off the field.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, and the warmth he brought to those around him.  His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he loved so deeply.

A short service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery with a memorial gathering to follow.  Details of the memorial will be shared later.
