Michael William McIntosh was born in Cincinnati, Ohio December 26, 1951 to Michael and Beatrice McIntosh. He was the oldest of their sons. He was educated in the parochial schools, graduating from Purcell High School in 1972. Upon graduation, he was drafted into the United States Navy. During his military tenure, Michael served on submarine ships and aircraft carriers. Upon discharge from the Navy in 1975, he relocated to Seattle, Washington as his permanent place of residence until his death. Michael was able to nurture his love for traveling. His travels led him to Hawaii, Japan, Africa and Nova Scotia. While living in Seattle, Michael earned his pilot license, fulfilling a life long dream to fly. Michael was an avid reader and spoke Arabic and Japanese. He loved coming home to Cincinnati to spend time with his family and old friends. Michael is preceded in death by his father Michael McIntosh, Sr.; his paternal grandmother, Mary Jackson and his maternal grandmother, Lucille Maddox. He leaves to cherish his memory and mourn his untimely death: his loving mother, Beatrice McIntosh; his brothers, John (Sandra) and Mark McIntosh; nephews, Brandon (Dawn) McIntosh of Columbus, Ohio, and Aaron (Princess) McIntosh of Illinois; nieces, Nikki Longmire, Brianna McIntosh, Tiffiany (Randall) Brogden; eight great-nephews and nieces, along with a host of family and his special friend, Wanda Wilton.
