Dr. Michael Lewis Koch, DVM, age 64, of Turkey Creek, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Community Hospice Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Michael was born January 10, 1953, at Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of the late Christian Budick Koch and Inge Oskar Koch. Dr. Koch was a proud graduate of The Ohio State University and WVU. Michael owned and operated Tug Valley Veterinary in Williamson, West Virginia. He was very dedicated to taking care of the health of the animals in the Tug Valley area, often doing it out of the goodness of his heart. His kindness will be greatly missed. Survivors include his two brothers, John (Rita) Koch of Alexandria, Virginia and Thomas Koch of Williamson, West Virginia; his work family, whom he loved dearly, Tammy White, Stephen Starr and Loretta Koch. He also leaves behind a host of other friends and especially his furry friends.
