Michael James Jamaal Hunter Jr., was born on March 1, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio to Darie Hunter and Michael James Hunter, Sr. The family moved to Cincinnati in 1988. Michael attended Cincinnati Public Schools, graduating from Western Hills High School in 2003. He also attended the University of Cincinnati. Michael was employed by the State of Ohio with the department of Developmental Disabilities. Michael's prized possession was his DVD collection. He loved movies, bowling, playing cards and singing. Michael was also an avid video game player, big wrestling fan and loved spending time with his family and friends. Michael gave his life to Christ as a young man under the leadership of Bishop Michael E. Dantley, Ed.D at Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship. He later joined Overflow Ministeries Covenent Church, where he met the love of his life, Inez Charlene Arnold. Michael and Charlene married on March 3, 2012. After a long battle with leukemia, God saw Michael was weary and called his angel home on October 3, 2014. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael James Hunter, Sr.; both paternal grandparents, and maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Funderburg. Michael leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Char; devoted mother, Darie Adams; grandfather, Roy 'PawPaw' Funderburg; sisters, Shelby Nkansah, Ayzja and Rommesse Hunter; brother, Robert Browner; his in-laws, Kevin and Inez Arnold; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Joi) Meadows, Andrae (Natasha) and Dorian Arnold; sisters-in-law, DaNika Arnold; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Michael James Jamaal Hunter, age 29, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born Friday, March 1, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio.
