Michael J. Jacobs passed away on November 26, 2025.

He was born to the late Joseph and Maxine Jacobs on January 24, 1948, in Middletown, Ohio.

Mike was married to his wife, Joan Elaine Jacobs, for 58 years. They had four children: Susan Gentry (spouse Jesse), Michele Chandler (deceased), Angela Copenhaver, and Michael Jr. (spouse Amber); 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His sister, Diana Sue Jacobs, preceded him in death in 2022.

Mike was a nostalgic lifetime member of the NRA. He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America program for over 40 years and earned the prestigious Silver Beaver Award. Although he worked as an engineer for most of his career, his favorite job was being a bus driver for the Northwest Local School District. His greatest joy, however, was cruising. Mike and his wife enjoyed more than 25 cruises together.

Visitation will be held before the service on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4831 Pleasant Ave, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. The service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Afterward, you are invited to join the processional to the West Chester Cemetery.

Flowers may be delivered to the church at 4831 Pleasant Ave, Fairfield, Ohio 45014, on Saturday morning between 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. If these times do not work, they may also be delivered to Walker Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206) anytime before Saturday (they will be brought to the service).
