It is with profound sadness that we announce the heavenly transition of Michael Harris, age 69, of Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael was born on Thursday, August 4, 1955, in Covington, Kentucky and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Cincinnati,  Ohio.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Katherine Hughes Harris (2003), and Nathaniel Andrew Harris (1990), two brothers, Phillip Richardson Harris (2010) and Frederick Nathaniel Harris (2023).

Michael graduated from Hughes High School, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1973 and received his Bachelor's Degree from The Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky in 1977.

Through his love of helping others and serving in his community, Mike founded and grew Michael Harris Electronic Filing, serving hundreds of clients since 1996 throughout the greater Cincinnati area, Dayton and Columbus.  He was a charitable resident of the Village of Lincoln Heights and for a period served on the Board of the Village of Lincoln Heights. He was also well known for his Feast Days celebrations.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five children: Shammai Estelle Harris, Michael Sakima Harris (Stacy), Reid Fletcher, Nathaniel Harris (Emily), and Yahavee Harris, one brother, Kendall Harris (Treasa), and one sister, Brenda Byrd (Jerome, Sr.), thirteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of beloved friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.

A graveside service will follow after procession to Spring Grove Cemetery. Service will begin at 11:30 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

Interment will follow the graveside service at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
